Spring gives us renewed energy for warmer and longer days that bring newness in nature, all around us. Right on cue, daffodils are already sprouting and birds are chirping again in the early mornings!
As an amateur shutterbug for most of my life, living in a wooded area presents amazing opportunities to capture nature in photos ~ of wild rabbit, stately owl, skittish deer, and brilliantly colorful butterflies like Monarchs and Swallowtails. But my favorite set of shots are of these blue & feathery beauties of Springtime and their journey into the world.
So I am excited to share my wonderful experience with this little brood of Robins (my namesake!), and invite you in for a “bird’s-eye” view of their amazing transformation over time, just outside our family room window. On a side note, I am so enamored by Robins that, if you look closely, I have incorporated the little blue egg shape into my logo!
The photos above were my first snaps of this beautiful clutch. Lucky timing, as their parents briefly left the nest for quick peeks at their offspring & their progress. These stunning blue eggs are such tiny…jewels…of nature! And they have inspired me to create some fresh, new pieces for Spring ~ that I know you will love ~ adorned with some very lovely semi-precious jewels! Just in time to wear for Spring, coming to you very soon!
